Wild animal suffering is orders of magnitude larger in scale than farm animal suffering and deserves proportionate attention.
The scale of wild animal suffering dwarfs that of domesticated animals and represents the largest single source of animal suffering globally. While human intervention to reduce wild animal suffering is constrained by ecological complexity, acknowledging the moral significance of this suffering and supporting research into appropriate interventions is an important welfare frontier.
