The Animal Welfare Hub continues to grow toward 15,500 evidence-based pages; each addition expands the free, publicly accessible resource for understanding and improving animal welfare globally.
The growth of this hub reflects the breadth and depth of the animal welfare challenge. Every species that is farmed, kept as a companion, or lives wild in human-modified landscapes has welfare dimensions that deserve accessible, evidence-based information. From the pain assessment of stoic prey animals to the global trade in exotic species, from the genetics of breed conformation to the design of fish farms — welfare knowledge exists that could reduce suffering if more widely applied. That is the purpose of this resource.
