Welfare Considerations

However, TNR is ineffective where immigration rates are high or where wildlife sensitivity is extreme. Managed sanctuaries can provide welfare for unadoptable feral cats while preventing wildlife predation. The welfare of feral cats and their prey species both require consideration.
