A Call to Action for Animal Welfare

Every action taken to reduce animal suffering makes a difference — collective action changes systems.

Key Facts

Welfare Considerations

The scale of animal suffering in the world is almost incomprehensibly large. Yet the trajectory of change is positive. In the past two decades, battery cages have been banned across Europe, alternative proteins have emerged as viable food system options, animal sentience has been legally recognized in dozens of countries, and public awareness of animal welfare has grown dramatically. Every individual action including purchasing choices, advocacy, education, and political engagement contributes to this collective progress. The animals cannot advocate for themselves. That responsibility falls to us.
