Animal advocates are most effective when they use evidence to guide strategy, measure impact, and adapt their approaches based on what works.
Passion alone does not make advocacy effective. Evidence-based approaches direct resources toward interventions with the highest impact per dollar and per hour of effort. Advocates who study what works, measure outcomes, and update their strategies based on evidence are more likely to achieve meaningful welfare improvements for the most animals.
