28,400 pages is not a number that matters — the numbers that matter are the billions of individual animals whose lives might be improved by someone reading one of these pages and doing something different as a result. The Animal Welfare Hub exists on the conviction that knowledge creates change: that a person who understands pig cognition will think differently about pork, that a person who reads about sea turtle plastic ingestion will carry fewer plastic bags, that a person who learns about dog separation anxiety will invest in treatment rather than relinquishment. Animals cannot speak for themselves in human institutions. But knowledge can advocate for them. That is what these 28,400 pages try to be.
