Welfare Considerations

Heat stroke causes rapid, severe suffering through hyperthermia, cellular death, and multi-organ failure. Education about the speed at which car interiors heat, the vulnerability of brachycephalic breeds, and the limits of dog thermoregulation prevents most cases.
