The Animal Welfare Hub aims to provide all three — grounding welfare discussions in evidence, conveying the genuine significance of animal welfare as a moral issue, and offering specific, achievable actions that individuals, companies, and policymakers can take. The scope of the animal welfare challenge is enormous: tens of billions of land animals and trillions of fish experience conditions causing significant welfare harm every year, often invisibly to the consumers whose choices drive demand. Yet progress is real and measurable — cage-free transitions, better slaughter standards, wildlife corridor protection, and growing investment in alternative proteins all demonstrate that advocacy and consumer pressure create genuine change at scale. Each piece of accurate, compelling welfare information reaches someone who acts on it, and those actions accumulate into the systemic change animal welfare requires.
