Welfare Considerations

Regular cleaning — ideally weekly during high use — is not optional but a welfare responsibility. Similarly, providing species-appropriate foods and positioning feeders to minimize collision and predation risk maximizes the genuine welfare benefit of garden feeding.

What You Can Do

Clean feeders weekly with dilute disinfectant and rinse thoroughly before refilling
