Welfare Considerations

Quality journalism and media on animal welfare serves multiple functions: exposing hidden welfare failures, educating consumers, holding institutions accountable, and driving policy change. Investigative reporting that reveals the realities of intensive animal agriculture has been one of the most powerful forces for welfare reform. Supporting independent welfare journalism and media that can access and report on conditions without commercial constraint is an important advocacy investment.
