Limited veterinary access in low- and middle-income countries causes enormous preventable animal suffering. Capacity building improves both animal and human welfare.

Animals suffer from preventable diseases, injuries, and malnutrition that would be readily addressed with basic veterinary access. Investment in veterinary capacity building is both a welfare priority and a development imperative - healthy animals support livelihoods and food security.
