Feline panleukopenia (feline parvovirus) is a highly contagious and fatal disease that is entirely preventable through vaccination.
Kittens dying from panleukopenia suffer profoundly - severe vomiting, diarrhoea, collapse, and death in a matter of days. The complete preventability of this disease through inexpensive, readily available vaccination makes every case a welfare failure. Vaccination access programs in shelters and low-income communities prevent enormous cat suffering.
