Welfare Considerations

Medical management (antitussives, anxiolytics, bronchodilators, weight management) addresses symptoms without correcting the underlying defect. In severe cases, intraluminal stenting provides durable welfare improvement but carries procedural risks including stent fracture and mucosal granulation.
